NEW SKATING CLASSES
offered by the Duluth Figure Skating Club and
partnering with DAHA & the City of Duluth
Beginning Power Skating Classes:
Nov 2 – Dec 2 $85 every M & W 5:15-6:15 Fryberger Arena
Dec 7 – Jan 6 $85 every M & W 5:15-6:15 Fryberger Arena
Skaters must pre-register for classes by email at nicole@duluthhockey.com, call 218-728-8000,
or at the Free Skating Day offered below on October 31 1:00-2:00 pm
These classes will be for skaters who are interested in or just beginning hockey. Skaters must provide their own skates & equipment – helmets, knee & elbow pads and gloves are recommended. Upcoming classes for winter to be scheduled at a later date.
Pre-School & Homeschool Skating Classes:
Thurs Oct 29 – Dec 17 $85 1:00-2:00 Heritage Arena (Wed Nov 25 due to Thanksgiving)
Additional classes will be scheduled for Jan – March Information will be posted on DAHA, City of Duluth & Duluth Figure Skating Club websites
Skaters will be learning skating skills through the US Figure Skating Basic Skills Program. This program is for ages 3-5 for the preschool class & students who are home schooled. Classes will be divided according to age and ability with a 30 min class & 30 min for practice. Specific lesson time will be determined after registration. Safety helmets are suggested for beginning skaters and skaters must provide their own skates. Parents/caregivers can skate along with their preschoolers for an additional fee of $15
