The Duluth Heights Hockey Association and the Bauers Fund Committee. All proceeds raised at the event will be used towards the scholarship fund in Dennin Bauers’ name sponsored through the Duluth Heights Hockey Association. This scholarship fund was established to help hockey players from the Duluth area who are advancing into the Lakers Hockey Association and the Central High School hockey with financial aid to help pay for their costs associated with playing hockey.
One of Dennin’s main goals as a hockey parent/coach/board member was that all kids should be able to continue to play hockey as long as they want and not be hindered by the costs associated with it. DHHA supports this goal and has established this scholarship fund to continue this goal in Dennin’s memory.
