DULUTH THANKSGIVING HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

Greetings!

Glen Avon Hockey Club cordially invites your team to participate in our 19th annual Duluth Thanksgiving Peewee B-1 & Bantam B-1 Hockey Tournament to be held NOVEMBER 28 - 30, 2008. Tournament games will be played at Mars-Lakeview and Fryberger Arenas. Our tournament committee welcomes your team and looks forward to providing quality facilities, a good schedule, and a great time to participants, families and friends. We hope to have your team join us.

Please complete the attached application and return it with payment to Glen Avon Hockey Club (U.S. funds only) no later than October 1, 2008. Mail to: Rick Haney, 1926 W Kent Rd, Duluth, MN 55812. The tournament cost per level is:

Peewee B-1: $575 Entry fee plus a $350 Team Gate fee
Bantam B-1: $625 Entry fee plus a $350 Team Gate fee

We will not charge family and friends to watch the games. The entry fee is due with the application, and the Team Gate fee is due at check-in for your first game.

All games will have three 15-minute stop time periods.

Tournament play will consist of championship and consolation playoffs for each age group, with three games guaranteed for each team. Individual medallions for first, second and third place will be awarded. Team trophies will be awarded for first, second, third and consolation.

You will be notified no later than October 15, 2008, on selection of the teams. The first eight completed applications received at each level will be guaranteed entry. Applications will not be considered complete unless accompanied by the entry fee (U.S. funds only). A complete roster sheet must be provided by November 1, 2008. Proof of team registration, players' ages and insurance must be provided at the arena before your first tournament game.
