Mite 2 - 3 on 3 League

• Designed for skaters who will be Mite 2 skaters in the 2024-25.
• Skaters/Goalies will register individually and will be assigned to teams by coaches. 

• Registration Fee - $60 for five one-hour games
• Skaters/Goalies may request one teammate. (Two goalies should not request each other as teammates.)

• Coaches will assign players to teams after registration is closed
• Registration closes at 6:00pm on Monday, March 18th.

• All Games will be played in a cross-ice format with two games contested during the same time slot.
• The Games will be played 3 vs. 3, plus goalies.
• The schedule format for each game will be as follows –

• 5:00 minute - Warm-up
• 2 x 24:00 minute - Periods
• 2:00 minute – Half-time Break

• Line changes will take place every 2 minutes and will be designated by the scoreboard horn being sounded.
• Officials Responsibility –

• Drop the puck for face-off to start each period and after line changes.
• Signify goals being scored.
• Carry extra puck and keep play going after goals.
• Retrieve pucks from nets.
• Identify significant penalties and have offending player leave the ice for the remainder of their shift.  The player leaving the ice will be immediately replaced by a teammate.  The offending team will not skate shorthanded.  (No Power Plays)
• After a goal is scored, play will re-start with the team that was scored putting the puck in play from behind their net.  The scoring team will retreat to behind the “center line” until the opponent brings puck out beyond the goal-line.

12:45 - 2 vs 1 and 3 vs 8
1:45 - 4 vs 7 and 5 vs 6

Saturday 3/30:
1:15 - 3 vs 4 and 1 vs 7
2:15 - 8 vs 6 and 2 vs 5

Saturday 4/6:
9:15 - 6 vs 2 and  7 vs 8
10:15 - 4 vs 1 and 5 vs 3

Sunday 4/7:
12:45 - 7 vs 5 and 8 vs 4
1:45 - 2 vs 3 and 6 vs 1

Saturday 4/13:
10:30 - 1 vs 3 and 4 vs 2
11:30 - 5 vs 8 and 6 vs 7
